About the Role
As the Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organization's compensation and benefits strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our compensation and benefits programmes are not only competitive and equitable but also delivered with the utmost precision and efficiency. You will act as a crucial bridge between the Human Resources (HR) team and the Finance department, fostering seamless communication and collaboration to support the organization's strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities
 
  1. Lead Payroll Operations:
    • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and related payments using Oracle HR systems.
    • Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with the HR team to improve payroll and HRIS processes.
    • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
 
  1. Manage HR Processes:
    • Supervise the administration of attendance, leave applications, employee loans, annual air ticket allowances, and salary payments.
    • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records and procedures.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
 
  1. Ensure Data Accuracy:
    • Maintain comprehensive HR documentation, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with legal and organizational standards.
    • Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
 
  1. Lead the Compensation & Benefits Team:
    • Manage, mentor, and develop the compensation and benefits team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
    • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
  1. Prepare and Analyze Reports:
    • Conduct regular audits and prepare detailed analytical reports on compensation and benefits data to support strategic decision-making.
    • Utilize data to identify trends, inform policy changes, and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits programs.
 
  1. Manage External Relationships:
    • Collaborate with external auditors and consultants on payroll-related matters, ensuring compliance and addressing any discrepancies.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers to optimize service delivery.
 
  1. Oversee Performance Management:
    • Manage the annual performance review process, including probationary assessments, annual appraisals, and salary adjustments.
    • Work closely with HR and Employee Relations Managers to ensure the performance management process aligns with organizational objectives.
 
  1. Provide HR Support:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation and benefits matters, providing guidance and support to the HR team and Finance department.
    • Assist in resolving complex employee inquiries and issues related to compensation and benefits.
 
  1. Conduct Compensation Research:
    • Regularly conduct comprehensive salary and labour market research to establish competitive benchmarks and inform compensation strategies.
    • Analyse market trends and provide recommendations to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
 
  1. Contribute to HR Team Events:
    • Actively participate in and contribute to various HR team events, initiatives, and projects to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Collaborate with HR colleagues to design and implement employee engagement and recognition programs.
  2. Super User of Oracle HR:
    • Serve as the organization's super user of Oracle HR systems, providing expert-level support and training to HR and payroll staff.
    • Lead the implementation and optimization of Oracle HR modules to enhance functionality and user experience.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with IT and Oracle support teams to ensure system reliability and performance.



What we’re looking for
 
  • Minimum five  years of experience in a Compensation & Benefits Manager role or similar position.
  • Proven experience managing payroll processes, including compliance, reporting, and system administration.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Oracle HR systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and must be fluent in English.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow and communicate company policies and procedures.
  • Motivated self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment.
